FairFleet and 14 other startups were selected to present their innovations from the 23rd to the 26th of October at the STARTUPCORNER. Their focus lied on the areas of architecture, lighting, acoustics, technology, media technology, object planning, office equipment as well as IT and services.

Besides being the platform for the selected startups, the STARTUPCORNER also offered an exciting programme. Daily the startups pitched and experts, as well as speakers from established companies shared their knowledge and expertise with the audience.

The winner FairFleet is a full-service partner for drone services, which offers everything from advice, planning and implementation to the dissemination of images and data.

How can the AEC industry benefit from the FairFleet service?

According to FairFleet architects and developers could use their drone shots as a perfect basis for making 3D visualizations and 3D videos in order to present their projects. “Both aerial photos and high-resolution video recordings can be used. 3D renderings can be installed in the actual environment. Thus, a construction project can be presented and sold by property developers or architects. The number of young entrepreneurs in the architecture and real estate industry is very low and there is still too little visibility for startups in this field. In order to change this, ap35 – the agency for architecture marketing – in cooperation with Peter Förster, announces the opening of the STARTUPCORNER at ORGATEC 2018. In addition to representatives of established companies, for the first time startups from the architecture and construction industry will also have their own exhibition area.

A total of 15-20 startups will be selected to present their innovations to the numerous visitors and interested parties at the leading trade fair for modern working environments. The target group are new companies from the fields of architecture, construction and technology, engineering, building management, IT & services and working environments.

In addition to the exhibition space, the STARTUPCORNER incorporates a stage where interesting programs will be offered from October 23rd to 25th. This is ensured by young founders in the form of daily pitches as well as experts and representatives of established companies, who share their opinion, experience and knowledge on current topics in architecture.

At the conclusion of the event all startups will be nominated for the STARTUP AWARD Architecture & Building. This award recognizes pioneering technologies and services that help the construction industry achieve worldwide success.
